Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to pay a fee to get a job through The Suburban Group?
Job Seekers do not pay fees for services. Whether it’s a temporary, contract, or full-time professional.
What types of positions do you specialize in at The Suburban Group?
Our professional, technical, and scientific recruiting division places candidates in engineering, scientific, IT, hospitality, management, administrative, and many other types of positions. Our staffing division helps job seekers find many types of temporary and contract positions, including temp-to-hire positions that may lead to permanent employment.
When can I start working?
Job availability for temporary and contract positions changes on a daily basis. Once the application process is complete, you will be considered based on your skills and preferences for the positions we have open, and we will complete our verification process.
What if I am not interested in a certain position when it is offered; is it all right to turn it down?
Not every job is going to meet your expectations. If you are not interested in a position you are free to decline. We will continue to offer you positions we think you’d be a good fit for.
What if I am on a temporary assignment and decide it is not for me?
If you realize an assignment isn’t going to work out, then please contact us immediately. We may ask you to stay at the assignment long enough for us to find a replacement, which we will attempt to do as quickly as possible. We think that communication is key in these kinds of situations. We expect honesty and communication from our employees and you can expect the same from The Suburban Group.
How can I stay informed about job openings?
Some of our job openings will be posted on our website. We will also contact you if we think you’re a fit for a position that opens up.
